About Us

Our name, "Beyond Dementia",  reflects a commitment to helping people live at home safely and  independently beyond their diagnosis. 

Our resident authority in Dementia Care is Michelle Russell.

Michelle is a qualified Dementia Workplace Coach on the frontline of Dementia Care daily. Michelle's mother is also living with Vascular Dementia.

Michelle's qualifications include:

• Over 10 years in the aged care sector
• Masters of Dementia (in progress)
• Diploma of Dementia Care
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment 
• Certificate III in Aged Care

Michelle also has a Degree in Tourism and is currently developing programs for those living with dementia to experience world travel from the comfort of their armchair. In particular, taking those people back to their country of birth for  reminiscing therapy.
